First Friends is a developmental play group for older toddlers and preschool children. The group is led by a speech-language pathologist and a developmental therapist. The therapist / child ratio is low, usually about 3:1. First Friends meets once a week for 90 minutes, and play is focused on facilitating social, communication, cognitive, and developmental play skills. Parents have the opportunity to observe the play group in progress through a one-way window.
